Support Our Work

Your contribution is vital to changing the lives of returning citizens. The money you share will provide holistic learning, a welcoming space, employment preparation, and housing to individuals that society often overlooks. If you’re able, please consider donating here.

We are also interested in in-kind donations of working laptops, desktop computers, gently used or new office or home furniture, and vehicles. If you have items you’d like to donate, please email us at

You can contribute to Returning Citizens’ lives in a very important and rewarding way!

We offer a volunteer program for individuals who are skilled at writing and who are compassionate and willing to learn. Volunteers write one-page responses to Returning Citizens who are still incarcerated through our Reentry Correspondence Course. Training is provided and all volunteering is done online, so you can do it from home.

In the future, we will be seeking volunteers with professional, teaching, or technological experience to share their gifts and knowledge at our center. Volunteers can come in to help out in the computer lab with employment preparation or tech learning. Help someone to learn to format a resume, find housing, or use Google Maps. If you are a gifted facilitator, you may be able to commit to facilitating one of our courses. Our center will be open from late morning into the evening, so no matter your work schedule, there will be an opportunity for you to get involved.

If you have other gifts or abilities you’d like to contribute, please let us know. We are happy to find a way for your experience to become valuable to Returning Citizens! If you’d like more information, please email us at
