Over the course of her life, Michelle has witnessed the devastating impact of incarceration and the criminal justice system with friends and family members. She also has firsthand experience with the traumatic effect it has on children. After being system impacted and working for 23 years in Member Relations, she transitioned from corporate business into Reentry as a passion project. Soon after making the transition, it quickly became her true calling. In her role as a Community Health Worker for PATH, she shared the goal of many Reentry organizations to change the perceptions of the formerly incarcerated while giving these incredible men and women tools and resources needed to succeed. She joined Mass Liberation's team as the LGBTQIA+ Housing and Outreach Program Manager, where her passion for the community can impact the lives of Returning Citizens all across LA County.
